The group started their venture into the Japanese music market with the release of a Japanese version of their massively successful 3rd Korean album, Sound-G , in late ,  with full promotions being held throughout early under Sony Music Japan , where they gained moderate success. Other than promoting as a group, all of the members have released solo albums. After finishing his contract with Decca Records and the mid break-up of his band, Them , Morrison returned to Belfast seeking a new recording company. When he received a phone call from Bert Berns , owner of Bang Records , who had produced a number of recordings with Them, he flew to New York City and hastily signed a contract which biographer Clinton Heylin says probably still gives him sleepless nights.
